Death of Mr Suharto

Indonesia's former & 2nd president, Mr Soeharto, passed away today, 27 January 2008, 1310 hours in Jakarta..he was one of the longest ruling president in Asia, having to rule Indonesia for 32years..However, the recessions and several riots brought upon his reign down in 1998..Since then, there was Mr Jusuf Habibie, Mr Abdurrahman Wahid (Gusdur), Ms Megawati Soekarnoputri, Mr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono who took over the president role till now...

As i would see it..its such a real pity for him to be down, as it too somehow brought the slight downfall of Indonesia Crisis till now..Though Mr Bambang, president of Indonesia, is keeping tight on securities and all, i believe Indonesia hasnt been at the highest state as it used to be during Mr Suharto reign..

Mr Suharto will be sent back to Solo, and buried alongside his wife tomorrow morning..

Well, after writing this, i was just thinking to myself...how come people oni think of e bad things...though its true that he may have corrupted, but life wasnt bad during his time!! haiz...anw, i am too small a figure to make any views =)

hmm btw, kind of Mr Lee Hsien Loong to be there now at Mr Soeharto's Jakarta Residence at Jln Cendana no8 =)
